イギリスで活躍され、現在は東京で活動される、三橋頼子さんのジュエリーを
取り扱いさせて頂く事になりました。（HPもとても素敵なんです）
三橋さんは、スコットランドのエディンバラのEdinburgh College of artから、
ロンドンのRoyal College of Art(RCA)でジュエリーデザインを学ばれ、
ジュエリーデザインで、数々のAward を獲得されています。
海外での取り扱いは、イギリスが中心で錚々たるギャラリー群。
ベルギーの取り扱いギャラリーSofie Lachaertはいつか行ってみたいと思っていたギャラリーでした。
まさかそんなギャラリーに並び、PATINAでお取り扱いさせて頂くことに喜びを感じています。
三橋さんがジュエリーを製作される上での、インスピレーションをお聞きした際、
「例えば、お菓子を作るときにバニラエッセンスを少量くわえて、
味、風味をよりいっそう引き立てる様に、私のジュエリーはサイズが小さく繊細で、
ささやかな存在感ではありますが、ささやかな存在感でも着ける人の魅力を引き立てる、
そんなジュエリーを作っています」
三橋さんらしい、人柄がでてくる印象的な言葉です。
彼女の作品には、コンテンポラリーでありながら、決して奇をてらうわけではなく、確かな技術と、素晴らしいフォルムのバランスがあります。
写真のリングの素材は、「18c yellow gold」
控えめでありながら、静かな存在感があり、そして毎日身につけたくなるデザイン。
実際、あまりアクセサリーを身につける習慣がなかった私が、身につけたい！
と思い、すぐにお願いしました。今では左手の中指で輝いていますよ。
